Custard Apple Breakfast Parfait

The bottom layer is fresh custard apple pieces, then a layer of Dorset cereals, followed by plain yoghurt with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top and a cinnamon stick for gratuitous decoration! No added sugar. Custard apples are now in season and you can buy one for around $12 in the wet market or pay 4-5 times the price for an Aussie one in the supermarkets. They are a little ugly by appearance but taste divine - like apples mixed with custard (oddly enough) and a little hint of lychee. Just slice them and pull out the big pips with your fingers and scoop out the flesh with a dessert spoon. READ MORE INTERESTING BUT HEALTHY BREAKFAST OPTIONS HERE!
